A Night on Broadway

Please be advised of the following event that will occur in the Downtown Area:

1. The Night on Broadway event will take place on Saturday 01-30-16 from 5 pm to 10 pm.
2. Street closures may begin as early as 6 am on Saturday and last until approximately 7 am on Sunday.
3. Broadway will be closed from 3rd Street to Olympic Blvd.
4. 35,000 to 40,000 people are expected for the event.
5. When leaving the Central Library on Saturday it is highly advisable that you proceed north, south or west of Broadway to avoid the heavy congestion that will occur on the surrounding and intersecting streets.
6. Check your public transportation providers as many have cancelled or detoured their routes in the event area.
